Only recently the Israeli parliament adopted the “anti-boycott law.” The law bans calls for boycotts against people, organizations, or products “of the Israeli state, any of its institutions, or any of its controlled areas.” Anybody who does not comply with that can expect fines of up to 10,000 Euro. In recent years more and more Israelis expressed their solidarity with boycott campaigns against the settlement and displacement policies in the West Bank.
